We were honoured to conceptualise and execute the complete brand identity for NEU ART HAUS, an innovative art gallery in Carlton North.
This arthouse blends Swiss, German, and Brutalism-inspired design with the versatility to showcase art across multiple genres. The brand reflects the gallery's cutting-edge architectural style, while celebrating the large-scale exhibitions of some of the world's most prolific artists. Our work involved not only designing the gallery’s identity but also developing an artist partnership brand for KÜNSTLERIN, the German-born artist whose dark, dystopian sculptures were featured in their inaugural exhibition.
The brand identity we created for NEU ART HAUS is a bold combination of reds, blacks, and sharp, geometric lines that evoke the gallery’s Brutalist roots. The typography uses Anton, a condensed sans-serif typeface, reinforcing the gallery's modern and edgy aesthetic. We extended this design ethos into the exhibition, combining the brand’s visual identity with KÜNSTLERIN’s haunting artworks—merging metal, porcelain, and organic materials to craft unsettling hybrid forms. The result was a cohesive, immersive experience that connected the artist’s challenging themes with the gallery’s distinctive visual presence.
