The 1314 range from Bannockburn Vineyards represents a vibrant and approachable collection of estate-grown wines crafted for early enjoyment. Produced with the same care and attention as Bannockburn’s flagship releases, the range is selected specifically for earlier bottling and release, offering fresh, expressive wines designed to be enjoyed sooner while still reflecting the character of the Moorabool Valley. Despite the quality of the wines themselves, the existing packaging no longer reflected the calibre of the product or the reputation of the Bannockburn name. The labels had become dated and visually understated on shelf, limiting the perceived value of the range within an increasingly design-conscious wine market. Foundry partnered with Bannockburn Vineyards to reimagine the identity of the 1314 range, elevating the presentation while remaining respectful of the winery’s heritage and story. The result is a refined label system built around the bold “1314” mark - a reference to Bannockburn’s historical namesake and a subtle nod to the Scottish battle that inspired the township’s name. The new design introduces a more premium visual language through restrained typography, confident composition, and a sophisticated colour palette tailored to each varietal. Gold detailing and textural finishes bring a sense of craftsmanship and quiet luxury, allowing the wines to command attention on shelf while remaining timeless and elegant. The rebrand positions the 1314 range as a modern expression of Bannockburn’s winemaking philosophy - approachable, characterful wines presented with the confidence and polish they deserve.
